DIGITAL SPECIFICATIONS

We do not under any circumstances do in-house creation of ads or make changes to existing artwork.

All files need to be supplied on Mac format disk - CD-Rom or zip disk (CD-Rom is preferable). Files must also be Macintosh format, created in either InDesign, Quark XPress, Photoshop or Illustrator.

Preferred artwork to receive is a hi-res PDF or JPG via Quickcut or email.

Make sure that you have supplied ALL fonts & graphics. Delete all unused graphics that are on the Pasteboard of Quark / InDesign.

All files that come out of Photoshop or any other graphics application must be in CMYK mode.

Quark documents as low as 4.0 should be set up to the trim size of the magazine (300 x 220mm). Every digital file supplied must have a colour laser print attached.

There must be 5mm bleed on each edge of the page (if applicable).   All colours should be CMYK mode in Quark with Process Separation selected.

NOTE: Advertising material that does not conform to the mechanical specifications, and any material supplied without a colour proof, will not be accepted by Next Media under any circumstances. Please ensure that all material supplied is the final, correct version, ready for publishing. It is not the responsibility of Next Media to make corrections to advertisements.
